Easterkepp distillery is at the village of Gagunnock, about 5 miles to the west from Stirling. Kepp distillery which was founded by David Cassell in 1795 divided into Easterkepp and Westerkeep in 1825. Later, Westerkeep changed its name into Glenfoyle and continued distilling till 1923 but unfortunately Easterkepp went bankrupt in 1842. Now some of the buildings still remains and they are used as houses.
