Stronachie distillery stands on the road that runs between the mountains connecting Milnathort and Forgandenny near Kunross. Alexander & Macdonald established it in the 1890s. The owner changed several times after that and in 1928 it was closed and the structure was taken apart. Now part of the broken wall and gatepost remains around Bauk Hill and Slungie Hill.
