Millfield

Millfield Distillery is about 10 miles to the south east from Banff. It stands by B9027 near Cuminestown, about 4 miles to the south from A98. It was built by John Watt in 1798 as a farmer's distillery. It is now used as a farmland, 500 acre wide and they mill flours. A part of the building from those days still remains and they are used as a cottage for farm animals. On the farmland's special map of 1832, it is named "Distillery".
I'd like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Strachan from the bottom of my heart for inviting us kindly in spite of their work.
