Glenavullen

This distillery stands near the entrance of Kinnabus Farm, about 3miles away from Port Ellen to the Oa peninsula. On the map of 1882, the place is written Glenavulin. Now there remains some part of the building's foundation. Like Upper Cragabus Distillery, this distillery wasn't registered. It is said that it existed during 1827-32 but nothing certain is known. Some say that it's the same distillery as Dunoon distillery (another name Glenavullen) the one owned by William Ewing through 1827-34.
