Crook's Mill distillery stood about a mile to Elgin direction on A96 from Keith. The year when they established is unknown. McIntyre Guthrie & Co. ran the place in 1827. Closed in 1834. The part of the remained building was rebuilt as a residential house in 2005. The small pagoda roof shows a triumphant look.
